I am so glad I was looking at every AOK railroad over pass cause I wouldn't have seen this, "ROCK ISLAND LINES" painted on the side of this tressel. This is along US 270 at Panola, OK roughly 6 miles east of Wilburton. I never legally drove 70 mph on a two lane highway till I got to Oklahoma. I am glad the sight distance was far enough away so I was able to stop in the road to take the photo. It took me several tries. |

The Bay Line has recently lifted the rails of the unused portion of this line from AL highway 27 crossing in Abbeville north to Abbeville, AL proper. US 431 overpass in the distance. |
