GSWR (ex-SAL) interlocking

The interlocking in Richalnd, GA. Both lines date back to Seaboard Air Line and operated by CSX till 1989 when GSWR took the deed to the property in 1989. Here we're facing south, much of this line has bejn ripped up GSWR from Cusseta to Cuthbert, GA. Th east-west track is now owned by the GA DOT for the Heart of Georgia RR. The line is out of service from Preston, GA to Cottonton, AL. According to the HOG, there are plans to rehab this portion of the lin`. GSWR says they would like to re-lay the north-south main.

Frank Grove General This would have been only a couple of months before the floods took it out of service. Looks like they need to run a weed sprayer over it while they're at it... 7/31/2008 11:46:01 PM
